As you probably already know, Cantabria is crossed by the famous ‘Camino de Santiago’ (The Santiago Way). As a result, in Cantabria there are thousands of paths and routes where you can go hiking or trekking. In fact, there are more than 600km of routes throughout Cantabria. From paths around villages, such as those in the Cabu\u00e9rniga Valley, to more professional routes through the Picos de Europa Natural Park, if you want to enjoy hiking in Cantabria, we recommend the following:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Where:<\/strong> Visit the Wikiloc profile of the Cantabria Tourism agency here. Cantabria is one of the best places in all of Spain to practice Surf, Bodyboarding, or SUP (Stand-up Paddle). It’s a sport with a huge following in the area and there are a lot of places where you can practice, year-round. We are also surfers and therefore we especially recommend the following beaches that are close to our houses.<\/p>\n If what you are looking for are Surf lessons, we recommend the following schools:<\/p>\n \u2022 Where:<\/strong> San Vicente de la Barquera, Liencres or Suances beaches. From downhill routes to off-road cycling routes, or mountain climbs for road bikes, Cantabria has thousands of kilometers to enjoy on your bike. Cycling is a huge sport in Cantabria, with one of the most loyal fan-base of all Spain,\u00a0 so you will not be short of plans to do with your bike. Our best recommendation is that you get lost, since you will always arrive at a town, road or path that will make you fall in love forever. But if what you are looking for is something a little more planned, we recommend the following.<\/p>\n If you want to go on your own, visit the Cantabria en Bici<\/a> website, where you will find hundreds of routes that have already been done and that you can replicate.<\/p>\n \u2022 Where:<\/strong> Book a Guided Route with e-bike Cantabria<\/a> The land of Seve Ballesteros has some very good golf courses, where you can test your skills with the irons while enjoying a privileged environment. Less than 25 minutes from our houses, we have 4 golf courses (3 of them 18 holes) and if we increase the distance to about 30\/40 minutes, we have more than 10 courses available. Need more info? Ask us!<\/p>\n \u2022 Where:<\/strong> All of Cantabria Just 50 km from our houses is the Alto Campoo ski resort, one of the few ski resorts in northern Spain. For lovers of heights and adrenaline, we also have some awesome proposals.
