From the architecture of Barcenaciones, we need to point out the parish church of San Juan Bautista from the 17th century. The doorway has a flat arch. Inside there is an 18th-century altarpiece.1 You can also see numerous mansions, among which the Casa del Marqu\u00e9s de Palomares stands out. It became part of the first constitutional council that was formed with the councils of the Reoc\u00edn valley. Quinta San Fernando, Fifth Chapel of San Antonio, and several more.<\/p>\n
One of the first reinforced concrete bridges built in Spain at the beginning of the 20th century (1903) was laid between Barcenaciones and Golbardo. By Decree 43\/2002, of April 4, this “Golbardo Bridge” was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, with the category of Monument.

Apart from being completely surrounded by nature and in an extraordinarily well-preserved environment, in Barcenaciones there are two manors with outstanding species of trees.<\/p>\n
In La Quinta Capilla de San Antonio<\/em> (LaQuinta), there is a cataloged Cedar of Lebanon of 30 meters.<\/p>\nIn the Quinta de San Raimundo, built in 1886 for the Indiano<\/em> Raimundo D\u00edaz de la Guerra y Fern\u00e1ndez, there is a botanical garden with various interesting trees: a 22-meter-high Himalayan cedar, a\u00a035-meter-high sequoia, a giant thuja 25 m high and a cryptomeria.<\/p>\nThere are several very attractive walks. One, which borders the Saja River, is a great attraction for children. There are several that run between small farms where you can see all kinds of animals, like cows, sheep, goats, dogs, chickens, and even wild boars. There are many small orchards cared by the locals too.<\/p>\n
Walking through the town is an experience on itself as it is full of traditional houses and typical mansions, with balconies full of geraniums and flowers. It is a very quiet place without cars because, being a cul-de-sac, hardly any vehicles circulate, there is no noise and the air is pure. Barcenaciones is the ideal place to holiday with little ones. There is a children’s and sports park where the children of the town and surroundings meet.

The doorway has a flat arch. Inside there is an 18th-century altarpiece.1 You can also see numerous mansions, among which the Casa del Marqu\u00e9s de Palomares stands out. It became part of the first constitutional council that was formed with the councils of the Reoc\u00edn valley. Quinta San Fernando, Fifth Chapel of San Antonio, and several more.<\/p>\n One of the first reinforced concrete bridges built in Spain at the beginning of the 20th century (1903) was laid between Barcenaciones and Golbardo. One, which borders the Saja River, is a great attraction for children. There are several that run between small farms where you can see all kinds of animals, like cows, sheep, goats, dogs, chickens, and even wild boars. There are many small orchards cared by the locals too.<\/p>\n Walking through the town is an experience on itself as it is full of traditional houses and typical mansions, with balconies full of geraniums and flowers. It is a very quiet place without cars because, being a cul-de-sac, hardly any vehicles circulate, there is no noise and the air is pure. Barcenaciones is the ideal place to holiday with little ones.
